You bought the safety technology.
Where's the data?
Every safety system on your trucks is creating a record. The visibility and control you have over this data will determine if you are a great fleet or an exceptional one.
- Increased liability exposure from notifications you never acted on or chose to ignore
- Continued frustration trying to make sense of all the raw safety event data
- Wasting money by passively reviewing data versus having an active data feed
You run a modern fleet with teams of very smart people.
You still carry risk due to unmanaged safety data.
You buy trucks with advanced safety systems and have a stack of software solutions to manage them.
The risk is not your technology investment. It is unmanaged data.
ADVANCED SAFETY SYSTEMS
Telematics AI dash cameras are impressive, but OEMs do not allow them to apply the truck brakes. Meanwhile, the OEM tech you paid thousands for and can apply brakes is offline.
NOBODY OWNS IT
OEM portals, telematics providers, dealers, and third party maintenance providers all see your safety data. None of them owns it. When a safety system goes offline it can stay that way for months.
OPERATIONAL VISIBILITY
Most modern fleets have 6 or more software systems to run operations. Chances are none of them are feeding data to a single source. With no time to access critical data, problems that could be caught early become very expensive.
Built by someone who convinced you to buy safety technology
For over 9 years I proved why fleets should install active safety systems. Until now I was not in a position to help fleets create solutions to manage them.
26 years in this industry, over 9 of them solving OEM safety system challenges. I am not a telematics rep. Not a software rep. I am a process engineer who has seen firsthand the real cost of not managing safety systems.
Creating Visibility and Control for your Fleet
Fleet Coach helps identify then to develop a plan tailored to your operation to solve your safety system operational blind spots. Together, we create operating standards while building a coaching rhythm so you can operate with a higher level of predictability.
Fleet Gap Analysis
A ranked list of fragmented data, missing standards, unclear ownership and risk.
Clear Operating Standards
Clear KPIs, thresholds, and coaching tools your managers can use.
Weekly Coaching Rhythm
A practical routine for reviewing performance, coaching behavior, and closing gaps.
Leadership Summary
A simple view of what changed, what improved, and what needs attention next.
Not a report. A rhythm.
You are not short on insight. You are drowning in insight. You are likely short on cadence. Here is the cadence we install and then coach your team to run without us.
Weekly
Exception reviews. Fifteen minutes. One owner in the chair.
Monthly
Trend review with safety and operations in the same room, looking at the same numbers.
Quarterly
Executive KPI package. The same four numbers every quarter, so you know what is working.
Always
One named human owns each results area. Not a department. A name.
Technology alone does not create a robust operating system. It amplifies what already exists. First is operating system, then dashboards, then automation, then AI.
What does exceptional look like?
Today
- Critical safety data nobody sees or acts on
- “We have the technology, so we are good.”
- Asking why the system did not work
- Not getting answers you have asked for
After
- Service level agreements that have owners
- “Here is who reviewed the status, and when.”
- Knowing that risks still exist, but you have a process
- One source of truth that helps you stay accountable
Remember this. Visibility plus control equals predictability.
Big numbers have a way of stopping us in our tracks
Example fleet averaged $50k over the past 5 years for all forward collisions. We apply this value to every future automated braking event. So anytime the OEMs advanced braking system applies the brakes instead of the driver. Your data might differ based on your collision costs, but typically a fleet will experience 3 to 5 automated braking events per month.
This example is what a fleet could expect to avoid each year.
Common questions we get
Why do we need Fleet Coach if we have a telematics provider?
You need telematics, but there is a chance your provider is not showing you the full story because OEMs do not give all safety signals to telematics providers.
Are you a consultant or a coach?
Coach. We actually help you build the standards, cadence, and ownership around the systems you already have. We do not tell you what to do and then fly away. We are with you for the long haul.
Are you going to replace our current systems and frustrate our employees?
No. We coach on the tools you already use, then work with you to identify where a tool might need to be modified to get the results you will come to expect.
How much time will this consume from our team members, we need to keep trucks rolling?
We understand your business and stay focused and practical. We need access to the right people, but the goal is to reduce daily frustrations, making you more efficient.
What if we have multiple OEMs in our fleet?
Perfect! Multi-OEM complexity is what we love and is one of the main reasons Fleet Coach was formed.
What if our data is messy, on paper or missing?
This is normal. I have seen it all in my 26 years in this industry. The first step is to diagnose what is available, what is reliable and repeatable, and what needs to be cleaned up or connected.
What kind of an ROI can we expect?
ROI is based on where you are now versus where you want to be in one year. The discovery process will show where you are today, then together we decide where you want to be.
What happens after you fulfil the contract?
You can continue to work with us at a lower frequency of coaching. Or call us back to help with other operational challenges.
Start with one terminal.
You do not have to commit the whole network. If the work at one terminal does not exceed your expectations, you will have spent very little and learned a lot. If it holds, you have a template for every terminal you run. Knowing beats wondering.
Schedule a fit call with our founder. In 15 minutes, you will know if we should explore further.
